CAMP SEASON 2023

SPRING RETREAT 2023

Press Start Logo Transparent VERSE.png

You’ve got to start somewhere. In life, we begin as infants, move to toddlers, adolescents, teenagers, and then to adulthood. Spiritually, it works the same way. Unfortunately, too many of us stay in spiritual infancy, but God wants us to grow into spiritual maturity and adulthood. The Apostle Paul challenges us in 1 Cor 14:20 to remain infants in things that involve sin and evil, but he challenges us to be mature, or adults, in our thinking. We all have to start somewhere, what better place than at the beginning.

SUMMER CAMP 2023

The Games We Play7 VERSE Transparent.png

We all like to play games. From family originals like Monopoly, Candyland, and The Game of Life to new board and card games to video games; we are surrounded by games that we can choose to play. Playing games has even become a professional sport and you can have a career in playing games. Whether we like playing these types of games or not, we are always playing some sort of game in real life. We play real games like thinking we can pursue trivial things, comparing ourselves to others and thinking we aren’t as bad as we think we are, that our words don’t matter, that we won’t fall into our own traps and fall for the same sins as others, that we can hide from God and others, that revenge is sweet, that we can do it all on our own, that everything is okay if no one gets hurt. All of these types of real-life games have real-life consequences and potentially eternal consequences. Join us next summer as we, through the “Games We Play,” recognize these real-life games and “grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ (Ephesians 4:14-15).”

FALL RETREATS 2023

When we play games we are always looking for opportunities to “Level Up.” It’s a chance to get stronger and faster; to grow as your character in your game. Leveling up shows progress and growth. As followers of Jesus, we should always look for opportunities to “level up,” to take the next step in our walk with Jesus. The Apostle Paul gives some great instruction to young Timothy on how he can “level up” spiritually, and it’s great instruction for us too!
