Isaiah 2:5
“O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lord.”


When it’s dark, we need flashlights and spotlights to get rid of the darkness and reveal to us what’s around us. Spotlights reveal animals, obstacles, the path ahead, and even people! We need spotlights to show us the way and the dangers that we need to avoid. As long as we walk within it’s light, we won’t go astray. But, if you are looking toward a spotlight, anything that comes between you and that light becomes dark and you only see the light around it. Both principles are true for our lives as well! If we walk in the light of the Lord, He reveals to us the path He has for us and the dangers along the way to avoid. As we walk in His light, when people look at us, they won’t see us, but they will see Him and His light.
