Ms. Evelyn and her husband, Roy, came to Bancroft in January of 1984. Her favorite Bible verses are Romans 8:28 and Proverbs 3:5-6.

Ms. Evelyn loves to sew and read, particularly the Bible, biographies, and any Amish fiction. She is currently reading “Rebecca’s Return” by Jerry S. Eicher, which is part of a trilogy. She also loves watching Jeopardy!

Ms Evelyn enjoys helping in the kitchen during camp and retreats. She also teaches a Bible Club at Girls Inc. every week!
